May I on behalf of all staff, governors and parents of all the children in school at present, extend to you and your family a very warm welcome. We hope that the association formed will be rewarding and that the time your child spends here in school will be both happy and successful.

This web site is intended to help you know more about the life and work of the school, a school which serves the interests of the children of the area and fosters their all round development. We endeavour to provide a caring and secure environment for your child. We provide a wide range of rich experiences and   balanced learning opportunities for all children, to help them grow into independent and responsible people.

We also believe that we can only achieve the best for your child through close co-operation between home and school. Throughout the time your child spends at Pontarddulais Primary we hope you will support the school and share in your child's education. My staff and I are always available to talk to you about any aspect of your child's development.

The children are encouraged to see the school as an integral part of their community and as an extension of their home, and as such are taught to care for one another. Children's needs are at the centre of our planning and we aim to meet their differing needs in a committed, thoughtful and sensitive manner.
